Seat Belt Anchorage Test

UN ECE Regulation 14 &

Directive 76/115/EEC amendment 2005/41/EC

About the seat belt anchorage test

Uniform provisions concerning the approval of vehicles with regard to the safety belt anchorages, ISOFIX anchorage systems and ISOFIX top tether anchorages.

During the seat belt anchorage test, the anchorage point has to resist defined static test loads applied via the hydraulic rams to represent impact in order to test the proper function of the seat belt system & its safety efficiencies.

VOSC is able to carry out seat belt anchorage testing including ISOFIX child restraint anchorages and top tether anchorages to

UN ECE R14.

We can also complete the anchorage testing to

Directive 76/115/EEC amendment 2005/41/EC.

This R14 pull test service is able to be completed either in vehicle or fixed on

a rigid structure depending on your testing requirements.

So, if you are looking for a M1 pull test for your mobility vehicle, have a campervan rock & roll bed that needs testing; we have both out and in-vehicle testing capabilities at the test house.

Do you know your seat's H point measurement?

In order for the seat belt anchorage test to be completed the H point measurement of your seat is required. If you do not have this measurement we can carry out the H-point test for you before your SBA pull test.
